Join us outdoors for a cup of coffee on the spacious two-storey wrap around veranda. This is a favorite  spot with everyone. Savor that morning cup of coffee in the fresh country air of the Manitoba Turtle Mountains while listening to the quiet sounds of nature.

The outdoor hot tub is open for relaxation year-round. Soothe those aching muscles after a day-long hiking adventure or cross-country ski experience in this Turtle Mountain country. Or, you may choose to mingle with the other guests around the campfire.

Walkinshaw Place is located in the country on a 640 acre farm that consists of grain and grassed fields and 240 acres of natural Turtle Mountain woodland with hiking trails throughout.

In spring the perfume from the wild blossoms fills the air and wildflowers are scattered throughout the property. Hike quietly down a trail and you may come across a deer, moose or elk. For the avid bird watcher this area is ideal in all four seasons. A birding checklist for Walkinshaw Place is available to our guests. Walkinshaw Place also offers private geocaching located on the farm property and this is available to guests who purchase the vacation package "Turtle Mountain Geocaching Treasures".
