Nestled in a secluded wooded area of the Turtle Mountains near Boissevain, you will find Walkinshaw Place. We offer a comfortable and restful accommodation facility, both indoors and outdoors. To provide you with a private, comfortable and unique experience as bed and breakfast guests at Walkinshaw Place, we offer 4 spacious guest rooms, each with it's own distinct decor


	All guest rooms feature: • spacious accommodation • air conditioning • private ensuite full 4 piece bath • TV • mini-fridge • a smoke free environment (smoking permitted outdoors only) • no pets permitted on property

The warm and welcoming guest parlour and dining room offer guests an opportunity to socialize and enjoy the historic ambiance of the farmhouse. Guests mingle in the parlour around the fireplace as they page through the scrapbook which features the official reports of C. A. Walkinshaw, the first forest ranger of the Turtle Mountain Forest Reserve.

As our bed and breakfast guests, you will experience awakening to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee. You will enjoy a leisurely breakfast consisting of seasonal fruits and juices, breads and cereals, and yogurt presented buffet style on an antique pioneer harvest table. A hot breakfast entrée is served to your table. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the spacious dining room, privately in your guestroom or seasonally on the verandahs. A selection of teas and coffee is available throughout the day.

For food health and safety, please note that the kitchen is not available to our bed and breakfast guests for the preparation of their own food for their other meals. For other meals, guests are asked to choose area restaurants or purchase the barbecue chicken or steak dinner packages offered at Walkinshaw Place. These complete dinner packages are prepared in commercial kitchens and barbecued by our guests at their leisure; a 72 hour notice is required to pre-order these barbecue dinners.

Scattered throughout the farmhouse, guests enjoy the artistry of various prairie artisans as well as a variety of area antique furnishings.

Walkinshaw Place also offers "exclusive whole house vacation rental" to groups
for holiday celebrations and special occasions.
