Newcomb's Hollow
To walk down the Boundary Commission Trail is to experience a piece of history. The original wagon tracks are still visible today at Newcomb's Hollow where the first pioneers to the Turtle Mountain area registered to obtain their homesteads. In 1880 Mr. John Renton Jr. arrived as one of those early settlers and homesteaded 1/4 mile from Newcomb's Hollow. In 1907 Mr. John Renton built the Victorian farmhouse that today is known as Walkinshaw Place. Revisit history at Newcomb's Hollow.
